Projects in progress
PRéLUDE
The Institut Catholique de Lille is working with the Université Polytechnique des Hauts-de-France on the PRéLUDE (Parcours de Réussite en Licence Universitaire à Développement Expérimental) project.
This project, funded by the Agence Nationale de la Recherche as part of the PIA 3 call for New University Curricula projects, is a new teaching model that enables students to create their own training pathway to a bachelor’s degree.
Inspired by the work of Jacques Tardif, who defines competence as the ability to use various resources effectively in a variety of situations, this experimental model promotes student success.
It is based on modular pathways and the accumulation of skills by box, moving from a program-based to a skills-based approach.
Students become the designers of their own pathways, with the help of the Training Hub and progressive guidance.
PEIA
PEIA (Plateforme d’Expériences Immersives Apprenantes) is the logical continuation of SAMI (see below). This project, in collaboration with the UPHF, aims to deploy immersive pedagogy within a persistent world enabling learning activities to be gamified, and comprises 5 dimensions:
- An environment of editorial tools for immersive, gamified educational content: La Fabrique.
- A portal and catalog referencing content productions and proofs of immersive concepts that have been awarded the “L’Entrepôt” label: L’Entrepôt.
- Persistent worlds, new places for immersive learning experiences and activities: Play Room and Learning Room.
- An Immersive Learning Management System (I-LMS) to support the activities of the Factory, the Warehouse and persistent worlds.
- A gas pedal for innovation in immersive learning, with the creation of a multi-site R&D team: MEET (IMmErsive lEarning Team) to study and transfer technology for immersive learning applications (digital twins and persistent worlds).
CoRPUS
The Lille University, the Polytechnic University of Hauts-de-France and the Lille Catholic University wish to facilitate access to MMOP healthcare studies for a diversified student population (PASS/L.AS), with a further focus on customising and ensuring the success of their health education. CorPUS is based on 4 key principles:
- A community that fosters collaboration between the various players in the community.
- Commitment, recognized through the valorization and capitalization of skills.
- Success through personalization, integration and the sharing of best practices.
- Improving the tutoring system by exchanging best practices and networking tutoring systems.

SAMI
SAMI (for Système d’Activités Médiatisées et Immersives) is a project carried out in collaboration with the Université Polytechnique des Hauts-de-France and INSA Hauts-de-France.
The SAMI project has 3 specific focus areas:
- The provision and creation of content (digital resources, Mooc), ensuring digital accessibility.
- The creation of a system of interactive spheres to create and support hybrid teaching and learning activities: teacher-teacher, teacher-student, student-student spheres.
- The creation of a collaborative environment for editing virtual and immersive content that can feed into national programs in the form of practical exercises.
CAPTE
This project, developed jointly with HEMISF4IRE, has a 3-fold focus:
- The structuring and articulation of a community of practice based on teaching staff, University Pedagogy Services, Information and Communication Technology Services for Teaching, Common Documentation Services and University Continuing Education Services.
- The pooling of training programs to expand existing initiatives and reach new teachers.
- Increased feedback from teachers involved in this approach, to help communicate these initiatives to a variety of internal and external audiences, as well as integrating them into teacher training programs.
